About DRIK ICT Limited
Pioneering Bangladesh's Digital Journey Since 1992
For more than three decades, DRIK ICT Limited has been at the forefront of Bangladesh's Internet evolution—connecting the nation since 1992. With an unwavering commitment to innovation, reliability, and technological excellence, DRIK ICT has played a significant role in shaping the country's digital connectivity landscape. Today, the company stands as one of Bangladesh's trusted nationwide Internet Service Providers (ISPs), delivering world-class Internet and ICT solutions to residential, corporate, enterprise, financial institutions, government organizations, educational institutions, and SMEs across the country.
According to published historical documentation on the evolution of the Internet in Bangladesh, DRIK ICT is recognized as Bangladesh's first provider of Offline Internet Services. At a time when Bangladesh had not yet established direct international Internet connectivity, DRIK ICT introduced Store-and-Forward E-mail (UUCP) technology, enabling organizations, businesses, and professionals to exchange electronic mail with the global Internet. This pioneering achievement represents one of the earliest milestones in Bangladesh's Internet history and reflects DRIK ICT's vision of connecting Bangladesh with the world through technology.
Building upon this historic foundation, DRIK ICT expanded its commercial Internet operations in February 1994 and has since evolved into a trusted nationwide Internet Service Provider (ISP). Over the past three decades, the company has continuously invested in advanced network infrastructure, cutting-edge technologies, and customer-focused services to meet the ever-growing demands of the digital age.
Today, DRIK ICT offers a comprehensive portfolio of advanced ICT services, including Next-Generation FTTH Broadband, Dedicated Internet Access (DIA), Secure MPLS Layer-2 & Layer-3 VPN, Enterprise Data Connectivity, IP Transit, Managed Network Services, Public IPv4 & IPv6 Connectivity, Cloud & Data Centre Connectivity, Cybersecurity Solutions, and 24×7 Network Operations Centre (NOC) Support. Powered by advanced GPON technology, multiple upstream Internet Gateways (IIGs), BDIX & NIX connectivity, and a resilient nationwide fibre-optic infrastructure, DRIK ICT delivers exceptional speed, ultra-low latency, maximum reliability, and uninterrupted connectivity.
